Merrell Dow T-Shirt

This shirt features a real bit of graphic design from this defunct pharma company, which promoted overlooked drugs discovered by other companies (including nicorette).

Merrell Dow had a few claims to fame. Its founder started the Kansas City Royals. It notoriously and tragically brought Thalidomide to the U.S. market for use during pregnancy.

And to lawyers, it is best known as the other party name in Daubert, the case that set the standard for admitting expert testimony in federal court (Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, Inc., 509 U.S. 579 (1993)).
